長所
- resize、naming、platform export を add master→customise→generate の3 step にまとめ、Mac、iPhone/iPad、Watch、Android、Web を出す individual developer／small team に便利です。macOS readable format を使え、padding／corner を追加でき、size 漏れを減らします。local processing なので未公開 brand asset を online converter に upload せず、candidate ごとに full package を高速生成し実機比較できます。Apple silicon／Intel、macOS 11+、低い cost と scope が利点です。
短所
- asset generator であり logo/icon design、vector edit、brand system、store compliance review ではありません。poor master、wrong safe zone、fine detail は bulk scaling で改善しません。platform rule は変化し、1.8.8 に itemised changelog がないため current Xcode、Android adaptive/monochrome、PWA、browser rule を自動保証しません。共通 rounding/padding は platform mask と衝突し得ます。small bitmap は optical correction が必要です。approval、A/B、trademark、source collaboration は管理せず Git/DAM が必要です。macOS readable input でも profile、HDR、alpha の target 一致は保証されません。
インストール手順
- Iconize 1.8.8 は macOS 11 以降、Apple silicon／Intel に対応します。editable vector master と sRGB の 1024×1024 以上の lossless square PNG を用意し、JPEG artifact、縮小で消える hairline、端に近い text を避けます。macOS、iOS/iPadOS、watchOS、Android、favicon を個別に選び、source にない場合だけ rounding／padding を追加して double corner や glyph 縮小を防ぎます。Android adaptive icon は foreground/background と safe zone を別に確認し、flat square PNG だけで済ませません。最大画像だけでなく 16/32 px favicon、small macOS、iPhone/iPad/Watch、Android density を確認し、transparency、pixel alignment、color、filename、folder、alpha を検査します。Xcode、Android Studio、browser tab、実機 home screen に import して manifest を保存します。
アンインストール手順
- 削除前に vector master、original 1024 px PNG、brand color、font license、padding/corner、platform、完全な output folder を保存します。release ごとに Iconize version、source SHA-256、dimension/color space、date、target、filename、output hash の manifest を残し、小画像の拡大ではなく再生成できるようにします。Xcode asset catalog、Android mipmap/drawable＋adaptive XML、favicon ICO/PNG、apple-touch-icon、Web/PWA manifest を version control します。obsolete size、duplicate Contents.json、wrong alpha、test icon を除き、license は private backup します。clean checkout で build／表示を確認してから app と cache を削除します。
よくあるエラーと解決策
- icon が小さすぎる場合は source transparent margin＋padding の重複を除き tight master と一つの safe zone にします。white／double corner は source と generator の両方で rounding したためで iOS などの system mask に任せます。small size の blur／broken line は 16/32 px で detail simplification と pixel grid correction が必要です。color 差は sRGB conversion、profile、P3/non-P3 を確認します。Xcode slot／Contents.json error は target/version と asset catalog 全体を確認し PNG だけをコピーしません。Android OEM crop は adaptive foreground/background と複数 mask で確認します。favicon は browser/CDN cache、HTML link、MIME を確認します。black transparency は alpha/format を確認し JPEG を使いません。
