My Dream Setup is a simulation game about building the room you’ve always dreamed of. A huge selection of furniture, computers and their accessories, posters, pictures, plants, and other interior details await you. Try all of them and create your dream setup.
Arrange the furniture the way you want. No placing by the grid – complete freedom of action. If you don’t like where you put a piece of furniture, just move it at any time. No limits on the amount of furniture in the room. Make a small neat office or a huge studio with a bunch of computers, monitors and other things – it’s all up to you.
Change the color of the furniture. All colors of the RGB palette are available to you. Each piece of furniture is customizable separately. This allows you to create all kinds of color combinations. You can paint almost anything: doors, windows, furniture and background color. Try combining different colors and shades to get the best looking room.
A huge selection of wallpapers and wall paints awaits you. Do you want to put wallpaper with flowers in your room? Or are you a fan of loft and want a brick wall? Paint each wall separately to create the most unexpected designs, or paint an entire room in one click. We let your imagination run wild.
See how your room looks under different lighting and weather conditions. We offer you five weather options: sunny, sunset, rain, snow, and night. Each option gives the room a new atmosphere as well as a new view from the window. Also in rainy and snowy weather, precipitation appears on the windows for even more immersion.
My Dream Setup offers you the opportunity to design the room you’ll be setting up yourself. Use Blueprint mode to place walls, windows, and doors. You can redesign the room at any time, even if you’ve already started decorating

优点
- 没有预算、网格或家具数量限制，玩家可以从小型工作区做到多电脑大型工作室，并随时移动已经放好的物件。Blueprint 允许直接重建墙、窗和门，装饰不是被固定房型限制的换皮。几乎每件家具、门窗与背景都能独立使用 RGB 色盘，适合复刻特定品牌色或灯光主题。五种天气和窗外效果让同一房间快速获得晴日、日落、雨、雪与夜景氛围。家具、电脑配件、海报、植物和墙纸种类丰富，Steam Workshop 又补充社区物件。操作目标单纯，适合无失败条件的创作与截图构图。
不足
- 它更接近室内布置沙盒而不是经营游戏：没有预算压力、客户需求、施工流程或功能评分，依赖自定目标维持动力。大型房间塞入大量物件、RGB 光源和 Workshop 模型后，载入与编辑性能会下降；雨雪效果也会增加负担。自由摆放仍受碰撞和承载面限制，缺少精密轴向移动时，小物件对齐会耗时。Blueprint 改结构可能让家具悬空或卡墙，需要手工整理。Workshop 内容的质量、尺寸与兼容性不一致，取消订阅会让旧房缺物件。官方 Mac 显卡表仍使用 GTX 560 Ti/960 等旧型号，也未明确 Apple Silicon，现代 Mac 对照不够直观。
安装步骤
- 本页对应 My Dream Setup 2026.07.18。官方最低要求为 macOS High Sierra 10.13、双核 2.5 GHz、4 GB 内存、GTX 560 Ti 级图形和 3 GB 空间；推荐 macOS Sonoma 14.4、双核 3.4 GHz、4 GB、GTX 960 级图形与 3 GB。官方表使用旧显卡名称，不能据此直接保证所有 Apple Silicon 机型。安装前备份房间、Blueprint 墙/窗/门、家具位置与颜色、RGB 灯光、墙纸、天气、Workshop 内容和设置，记录 2026.07.18/SHA-256。新档创建一房，改蓝图、放桌椅和电脑、逐件调 RGB、切换晴天/日落/雨/雪/夜晚，保存并重载。
卸载步骤
- 卸载前退出家具拖动、颜色选择与 Blueprint 编辑，保存房间并回到房间列表；不要在导入 Workshop、批量清空家具、切换天气或载入时强退。分别备份本地房间文件与 Steam/Workshop 订阅清单，保留墙体、门窗、楼层、家具坐标、颜色、灯光、天气和 2026.07.18/SHA-256。重装后先停用 Workshop，用新房测试一面墙、一扇窗、一件家具、RGB 与保存读取；再恢复旧房并逐批启用 Workshop。发现缺物件时不要覆盖旧档，先恢复对应订阅。
常见报错及解决办法
- 载入时间长或“未响应”时先等待一次完整加载，不要连续点击；此前热修已经提升加载速度和减少卡顿，2026.07.18 又恢复旧的物品排列顺序。若物品菜单顺序与记忆不同，确认日期版本后重新熟悉旧顺序，不要误判为内容丢失。家具无法放置时检查碰撞、承载表面和墙体方向，先离开吸附点再旋转；本作无网格限制，但物理边界仍存在。Blueprint 改墙后家具漂浮，应先移动受影响物件再保存。Workshop 物品缺失时检查订阅与下载完成，使用空房排除损坏模组。雨雪卡顿可减少家具/RGB 光源并改晴天编辑。Apple Silicon 支持未在官方处理器栏明确写出，启动异常时不能仅凭 Sonoma 推荐项判断兼容。
本次版本更新内容
- 官方 2026 年 7 月 18 日热修与站内 2026.07.18 日期版本完全对应，唯一明确列出的变化是“恢复旧的物品排列顺序”。验收时应打开家具/物品选择菜单，确认分类中的物品回到旧顺序，并检查收藏的常用家具仍可找到、放置、改色与保存。此前 7 月 17 日和 14 日公告提到加载速度、未响应窗口、加载卡顿与菜单空隙修复，但它们是更早日期的背景，不应重复宣称为 7 月 18 日新增内容。除此之外不推测未列出的家具、DLC、性能或兼容变化，也不披露更高版本。
