Cons
- The learning curve is steep: classes, layers, viewports, resources, styles, data mapping and product modules need office standards or files become unmanageable. Large BIM, point clouds, rendering and many viewports demand RAM/GPU and slow updates. Product/licence determines tools and interchange, while plug-ins can block upgrades. DWG has a different single-model-space model from Vectorworks layers/scales/hybrid 2D/3D, so translation is not lossless; IFC semantics require deliberate mapping. Project Sharing is sensitive to network, permissions and discipline. The 2022 OS/file compatibility window is finite, so do not move production to an unvalidated macOS.

For Project Sharing conflicts, stop simultaneous repair, back up the project, inspect latency/permissions/admin release and replace damaged working files. Wrong DWG scale/location usually comes from units, user origin, georeferencing or design-layer scale; verify a known coordinate/dimension.
