After years of tireless explorations, brave Vikings have discovered a new land filled with mystery, danger and riches: Northgard .
The boldest Northmen have set sail to explore and conquer these new shores, bring fame to their Clan and write history through conquest, trading, or devotion to the Gods.
That is, if they can survive the dire wolves and undead warriors roaming the land, befriend or defeat the giants, and survive the harshest winters ever witnessed in the North.

THE STORY MODE: RIG’S SAGA
The Viking High King is murdered and his REGAL HORN is stolen by a man named HAGEN. This event kickstarts a saga that will take RIG, his son and heir accompanied by his right-hand man BRAND through the new continent of NORTHGARD, where he will make new friends and foes and discover a much greater threat than HAGEN, and the reasons behind his father’s assassination.
In order to complete the 11 chapters campaign, the player will have to master the specificities of all 6 clans and tame the unforgiving wilderness of Northgard.

優點
- 它把 RTS 濃縮成易讀的區域擴張：每塊地、職業、食物木材與冬季都有明確取捨。征服、聲望、知識與貿易勝利、不同氏族、11 章 Rig’s Saga、Conquest/Bifröst、AI 及排名多人提供耐玩度。暫停與小型軍隊降低微操負擔，並支援五種目標語言、模組和專用伺服器。
不足
- 區域與人口限制令擴張較慢，長局會重複偵察、殖民、轉職與冬季備貨。氏族、知識、遺物和勝利條件很多，新手容易因生產損失或過早組軍崩盤。多人依賴相同版本、伺服器、網路與準備確認，模組增加載入/舊檔風險。Mac 要求仍以舊機型年份描述，沒有現代晶片矩陣；4.0.19 修復多種崩潰也不代表所有問題消失。
安裝步驟
- 本頁對應 Northgard 4.0.19。Steam 官方 Mac 最低要求為 macOS Mavericks 10.9 或以上及 2012 年後的 MacBook/MacBook Pro/iMac，建議 2014 年後機型；沒有現代 Intel/Apple 晶片矩陣。備份 Steam Cloud、戰役、Rig’s Saga、Conquest/Bifröst、氏族解鎖、多人排名、模組、按鍵與畫面，記錄 4.0.19/SHA-256，並預留超過 2.76 GB 包體的空間。先在無模組單人局驗證地圖、殖民、職業、冬季資源、戰鬥與讀檔，再測試多人房間及舊檔。
解除安裝步驟
- 移除前完成目前月份/戰鬥並手動儲存，返回主選單等待 Steam Cloud；地圖生成、Conquest 結算、排名準備確認或儲存圖示出現時不要強制退出。記錄戰役章節、Conquest/Bifröst 節點、氏族/難度、多人排名、模組、4.0.19/SHA-256 與 Steam 帳號。重裝後停用模組，用臨時單人檔驗證重啟讀取，再逐一恢復模組和長期檔；Cloud 衝突時保留已複製且時間較新的本機檔。
常見錯誤及解決方法
- 啟動/舊檔崩潰時停用全部模組、驗證檔案，並以無模組新地圖區分存檔問題；4.0.19 雖修復多種崩潰，但不保證每個舊檔。地圖無限載入可降低規模、移除模組並重建。多人失敗時檢查區域、相同版本、準備確認與防火牆；官方曾說明中國服務異常，P2P 亦可能延遲。M 系列戰鬥凍結時降低畫質/解析度、關閉背景程式並用小型戰鬥驗證。冬季崩盤要檢查食物、木材、幸福度與擴張速度。
本次版本更新內容
- 官方 4.0.19（Build 43313）於 3 月 3 日發布。排名加入房間搜尋安全措施與錯過準備確認的處罰；Owl 優化遺物放置並修復 Veterans/Source of Urdarbrunnr、Branch of Yggdrasil Conquest；亦修復 Raven Frozen Sea 遺物、Snake Nidavellir Scorched Earth 資源及 Dragon Conquest 免費招募 Warchief 崩潰。另補齊韓語、修復多種崩潰及通用最佳化。
