The boldest Northmen have set sail to explore and conquer these new shores, bring fame to their Clan and write history through conquest, trading, or devotion to the Gods.

THE STORY MODE: RIG’S SAGA
The Viking High King is murdered and his REGAL HORN is stolen by a man named HAGEN. This event kickstarts a saga that will take RIG, his son and heir accompanied by his right-hand man BRAND through the new continent of NORTHGARD, where he will make new friends and foes and discover a much greater threat than HAGEN, and the reasons behind his father’s assassination.
In order to complete the 11 chapters campaign, the player will have to master the specificities of all 6 clans and tame the unforgiving wilderness of Northgard.

优点
- 它把即时战略压缩为易读的分区扩张：每块区域、人口职业、食物木材与严冬都形成明确取舍。征服、声望、知识和贸易等多种胜利条件让同一地图可采用不同路线；氏族差异、Rig’s Saga 11 章、Conquest/Bifröst、AI 与多人排名提供较长寿命。暂停和相对克制的单位规模降低微操负担，五种目标语言均可使用，模组与专用服务器扩展了玩法。
不足
- 分区和人口上限让扩张节奏偏慢，长局会重复侦察、殖民、转职和冬季备货。氏族、知识树、遗物与胜利条件很多，新手容易因隐藏的生产效率或过早组军而崩盘。多人高度依赖版本、服务器、网络和准备确认，模组会放大载入及旧档兼容风险。官方 Mac 要求仍以老款 Intel 年份描述，没有现代芯片矩阵；4.0.19 虽修复多种崩溃，仍不能视为所有平台问题已消失。
安装步骤
- 本页对应 Northgard 4.0.19。Steam 官方最低要求为 macOS Mavericks 10.9 或更高版本、2012 年或更新的 MacBook/MacBook Pro/iMac，推荐 2014 年或更新机型；官方页面没有现代 Intel/Apple 芯片矩阵。安装前备份 Steam Cloud、本地战役、Rig’s Saga、Conquest/Bifröst、氏族解锁、多人排名、模组、键位和画面设置，记录 4.0.19/SHA-256，并预留超过站内 2.76 GB 包体的安装与存档空间。首次启动先用无模组单人局验证地图生成、分区殖民、职业分配、冬季资源、战斗与保存重载，再检查多人大厅和旧档。
卸载步骤
- 卸载前结束当前月份/战斗并手动保存，返回主菜单后等待 Steam Cloud 同步；地图生成、征服结算、排位准备检查或保存图标出现时不要强退。分别记录战役章节、Conquest/Bifröst 节点、氏族/难度、多人排名、模组清单、4.0.19/SHA-256 与 Steam 账户。重装后先禁用模组创建临时单人档并重启读取，再逐个恢复模组和长期档；云端冲突时先保留时间较新且已复制的本地档。
常见报错及解决办法
- 启动或载入旧档崩溃时先禁用所有模组，验证文件并用无模组新地图区分存档/模组问题；4.0.19 只声明修复多种崩溃，不代表所有旧档都已恢复。地图无限载入可降低地图规模、移除模组并重新生成。多人无法匹配时检查服务器区域、版本一致、准备确认和防火墙；中国网络环境曾有官方服务异常说明，P2P 也可能延迟。战斗时 M 系列 Mac 出现画面冻结，应降低画质/分辨率、关闭后台程序并先用小规模遭遇验证。冬季崩盘通常源于食物、木材、幸福度或人口扩张过快，应在入冬前保留库存并减少非必要职业。
本次版本更新内容
- 官方 4.0.19（内部构建 43313）于 3 月 3 日发布。排位加入大厅查找安全措施，并对错过准备确认增加处罚；Owl 优化遗物放置并修复 Veterans、Source of Urdarbrunnr、Branch of Yggdrasil 征服加成；Raven 修复 Frozen Sea 遗物，Snake 修复 Nidavellir 的 Scorched Earth 资源，Dragon 修复 Conquest 免费招募 Warchief 崩溃。此外补齐韩语本地化，修复多种崩溃并加入通用优化。验收覆盖这些氏族场景、排位大厅、韩语文本、无模组保存与重载。
