Cons
- Public notes for 4.2.7 are extremely terse, so the exact fixes are unknown and critical projects need regression tests. The source labels the build Intel-only; Apple-silicon and newer-macOS behaviour cannot be assumed. This lightweight editor is not intended for complex masks, RAW development, rigorous colour management, CMYK prepress, batch automation or large multipage layouts. Installation steps

Uninstallation steps

- Blurred exports require building at final pixel size and avoiding repeated bitmap down/up-scaling. For PDF, verify that text and shapes remain sharp rather than assuming every object is vector. White transparency means using PNG/TIFF and reopening over checkerboard and coloured backgrounds; JPEG has no alpha. Cropped PDF edges require checking off-canvas objects, shadow extent, page size and safety margin. Font changes call for installed/licensed fonts and a high-resolution raster fallback.
