Cons
- It is a concept visualiser, not BIM, construction documentation, structural/MEP calculation or code review. Professional component semantics, clash detection, engineering material data and collaborative versioning are limited. Areas, clearances, stairs, roofs and structural dimensions need professional verification. Rendering is basic, and large multi-storey scenes/dense models are constrained by the older OpenGL/GPU path. Third-party model scale, normals, textures and licences vary. The channel Intel build depends on Rosetta 2 on Apple silicon; commercial use and upgrade licensing require confirmation.
Installation steps
- The channel build of DreamPlan 9.10 requires OS X 10.9 or later and an Intel 64-bit processor; prepare Rosetta 2 on Apple silicon.
