From the convoy attacks in the Battle of the Atlantic to the fierce carrier battles on the Pacific front, the Second World War saw naval innovation in both tactics and technology. The war at sea takes center stage in Hearts of Iron IV: Man the Guns , a new expansion to Paradox Development Studio’s popular strategy wargame.
Design your own ships and refit older models. Alter your convoy routes to avoid hungry wolf packs. Embrace or circumvent naval treaties and deal with the diplomatic consequences.
Man the Guns also introduces new alternate history paths for the major democracies of the war and gives the freedom loving nations of the world more freedom to act before the war forces their hand.

優點

不足
- 學習曲線陡峭，戰鬥寬度、補給、生產、空軍任務、海軍偵察及裝甲／穿甲不易一次掌握。大量國家路線和機制分布於付費 DLC，完整收藏成本高；大型更新亦可能暫時令模組和舊存檔失效。後期單位數量增加後 CPU、記憶體及介面負擔明顯，多人還要求版本、DLC、模組完全一致。官方 Mac 規格仍是舊 Intel 顯示卡描述，沒有 Apple Silicon 等級。繁體中文不在官方語言清單，戰爭、意識形態及歷史暴力題材也不適合所有人。
安裝步驟
- 本頁對應 Hearts of Iron IV 1.19.2。現行官方 Mac 最低需求為 macOS Ventura 13、Intel Core i5 2.60GHz、4GB、ATI Radeon HD 6970M 及 2GB 基礎空間；建議 i5 2.90GHz、8GB、Radeon R9 390M 或 GeForce 750M 1GB。DLC、模組與存檔會增加容量，請預留 15GB。備份存檔、啟動器資料庫、播放清單／載入順序、DLC 及範本，記錄 1.19.2、校驗碼與安裝檔 SHA-256。首次以無模組新戰役測試地圖、國策、生產、補給、陸海空軍、Army HQ、暫停與儲存／讀取，再逐一恢復 DLC 和模組。舊 OS X 10.11 規格不適用於現行官方構建。
解除安裝步驟
- 移除前避開和平會議、多人熱加入或大型戰役結算中，另建手動存檔並正常退出。備份本機／雲端存檔、啟動器資料庫、播放清單、確切模組版本和順序、DLC、師團及艦船範本；標註 1.19.2、國家、日期、規則、校驗碼和 SHA-256。先以離線副本驗證讀取，雲端衝突時保留兩份。重裝後先以無模組新局核對版本及校驗碼，再恢復完全相同的 DLC／模組和存檔副本；舊戰役若受影響，可依官方選項回退 1.19.1 完成。
常見錯誤及解決方法
- 啟動器空白或播放清單損壞：核對 Ventura 13、空間及 SHA-256，完整退出後保留並重建快取／資料庫，以無模組測試。校驗碼或 OOS：所有玩家須為 1.19.2，DLC、模組版本和順序相同。本版修正待處理熱加入不顯示、客戶端錯誤直入大廳，以及兩項後期／工作階段歷史 OOS。當機先移除模組；1.19.2 修正無海軍上將艦隊執行 gain_xp，以及將已部署陸軍元帥指派到集團軍群的崩潰。進攻線與 Army HQ 問題亦有修正。後期建議減少背景程式並使用 8GB；Apple Silicon 未列入官方 Mac 規格，勿僅憑晶片年代推斷。
本次版本更新內容
- 是 Thunder at Our Gates 暑期前穩定維護更新。平衡遠征領袖、瑞士傷亡返還及印度尼西亞、澳洲、暹羅多項數值；加入事件聲音開關與東帝汶／努山塔拉互動；修正兩項崩潰、後期多人 OOS、熱加入、進攻線、Army HQ、師團設計器、指揮官介面及 AI 防守／太平洋行動。官方提供回退 1.19.1 完成舊存檔。本頁不混入後續夏季公開測試內容。
