REQUIREMENTS
• Apple M1 chip or later
• macOS 1
Editor-checked details
Recommended for players who enjoy top-down vehicle shooters, resource management and Desert Strike-style mission structure. Do not choose only by firepower: consider distance, rescue capacity, resupply points and extraction route, then balance speed, fuel and load. Learn aiming and resupply in the early solo stages before co-op, and verify that 1.1.4 unlocks Epilogue after Stage 12. Safe order: backup; 1.1.4/SHA-256; M1–M4; fresh save; controller; vehicles/resources; results; Stage 13; co-op/PvP; restore progress.
Pros
- Its Desert Strike-inspired top-down combat makes speed, firepower, fuel and load capacity part of every mission decision. Distinct vehicles keep scouting, rescues, resource recovery and base assaults from becoming nonstop shooting. A 13-stage campaign provides clear progression, while solo, co-op and PvP change the pace; twin-stick/controller play suits quick engagements. Eight official interface/subtitle languages improve access, and Steam achievements provide replay goals.
Cons
- Apple silicon is mandatory, excluding Intel Macs entirely, and the published minimum-memory field is clearly unreliable, so capacity planning must be conservative. Fuel, ammunition and load constraints may feel restrictive to players wanting pure arcade shooting, and failed missions can repeat longer routes. Online PvP/co-op depends on population, connection and matching versions, so matchmaking may be thin. The developer discloses generative-AI assistance for textures, some character-art bases and soundtrack creation. Traditional Chinese is not officially listed.
Installation steps
- This page covers channel version 1.1.4. The official requirement is an Apple M1 or later chip; Intel Macs are explicitly unsupported. The channel lists macOS 10.13+, and installation should leave room for campaign saves and cache while recording SHA-256. With a fresh save, test top-down vehicle movement, aiming/fire, fuel and ammunition, load capacity, rescues/resource collection, vehicle switching, controller mapping and Steam achievements. PvP/co-op needs a stable connection and matching versions where possible. Official interface/subtitle languages are English, Japanese, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Korean and Simplified Chinese; Traditional Chinese is not listed.
Uninstallation steps
- Before uninstalling, finish the mission or return to base and wait for campaign progress, vehicle unlocks and achievements to sync; never force-quit in a multiplayer room or while the save indicator is active. Back up saves, controller settings, the 1.1.4 installer and SHA-256. After reinstalling, first use a fresh offline save to verify driving, weapons, fuel, rescues and mission results, then reconnect multiplayer and restore progress to avoid cloud/local conflicts.
Common errors and fixes
- An Intel Mac failing to launch is not a Rosetta problem: Intel is officially unsupported. M1–M4 should use the Apple-silicon build. If a vehicle or twin-stick aim misbehaves, restore Steam Input/game defaults and connect one controller at a time. When multiplayer rooms are missing, confirm both players use 1.1.4, the same region where applicable, and permitted firewall rules; test private co-op first. Mission failure often reflects fuel, ammunition or load planning rather than save damage, so scout resupply points. The published memory figure appears implausibly small and should not guide capacity planning. Violence is limited to destroyed vehicles and robots, not people or animals.
What changed in this version
- Official 1.1.4 adds Campaign Stage 13, “Epilogue.” It unlocks after all original 12 campaign stages are completed and features more enemies, larger explosions, fires to deal with and massive Neotech bases. Validation should cover the Stage 12 completion flag, Epilogue unlock, mission results, inherited saves and multiplayer version matching.
