Significant mechanics are spread across paid DLC, making a complete set costly and increasing update/mod compatibility risk. Large realms, growing populations and late dates add CPU, memory and interface load; 8 GB is a floor, while 16 GB is preferable for long campaigns. Rule or mod changes can disturb old-save checksums, event chains and loading. Murder, disease, war and consanguineous marriage are mature themes. Traditional Chinese is not in the official language list, so use another official language or evaluate community translations carefully.
Installation steps
