- 「全DLC」遠超基礎需求，擴充、遊戲／物件包及套件總成本、容量與載入時間都很高。EA App帳號／啟用必須，Gallery／內容下載依賴網路；Mac沒有EA App雲端存檔，須自行備份。更新常令腳本模組／CC暫時失效，排查Mods與清舊快取耗時。4GB／25GB只適合少量內容，長期家庭及大量DLC應使用8GB以上並保留充足空間。官方Mac配置仍以Intel描述，Apple Silicon沒有獨立性能等級。
安裝步驟
- 本頁對應Mac版 The Sims 4 1.124.63.1220。EA最低需求為支援Metal的Catalina 10.15、Intel Core i3-3225 3.5GHz、4GB、Intel HD 4000級、256MB顯存、25GB另加1GB存檔／自訂內容；建議四核i5、8GB及50GB+1GB。大量DLC／模組建議預留100GB。手動備份saves、Tray、Mods、Screenshots、Recorded Videos、Options.ini，記錄1.124.63.1220與SHA-256。首次移走Mods，以新存檔測試CAS、建造、生活、世界切換、Gallery及儲存／讀取，再恢復確認相容本版的腳本／CC。
解除安裝步驟
- 移除前讓家庭回到住宅地段，結束旅行／節慶／活動，另開欄位「另存新檔」後正常退出。完整複製Electronic Arts/The Sims 4目錄，尤其saves、Tray、Mods、Screenshots、Recorded Videos、Custom Music、Options.ini；標註1.124.63.1220、家庭、世界、DLC、模組及SHA-256。EA明確表示Mac版不支援EA App雲端存檔，不能以雲端代替備份。重裝後先啟動生成新目錄，以無模組副本確認存檔，再分批恢復Tray、saves及相容模組，勿覆寫唯一存檔或沿用舊快取。
常見錯誤及解決方法
- 啟動失敗、白畫面或無限載入：核對Catalina／Metal、空間及SHA-256，移走Mods、刪除localthumbcache.package，以新使用者目錄測試，再用二分法找過期腳本／CC。存檔錯誤或家庭消失時保留原saves並嘗試較早Slot，勿繼續覆寫。DLC不顯示要確認EA帳號所有權、下載及同一登入。Gallery上傳逾時、CAS服裝類別不定位所穿物品、建造吸管不開目錄，均為Mac 1.124.63.1220修正項。低幀率可用Laptop Mode、降低人物細節／光照／反射及高面數CC。Apple Silicon可運行，但公開配置仍以Intel為基準。
本次版本更新內容
- Mac版1.124.63.1220是EA於2026年5月21日發布的小型修正。三項基礎遊戲變更為：CAS開啟服裝類別會定位目前穿著物品並顯示內容包；建造模式吸管會開啟該物品的目錄條目；Gallery上傳不再發生逾時。控制器捲動修正標示為主機版，未列為Mac變更。本頁只記錄Mac 1.124.63.1220。
