- “All DLC” is far beyond base requirements: expansions, game/stuff packs and kits are expensive, consume substantial storage and lengthen loading. EA app account/activation is required, while Gallery/content downloads need networking. Mac has no EA app cloud saves, so backup is your responsibility. Updates often disable script mods/CC, making Mods-folder diagnosis time-consuming; stale cache creates false errors. The 4-GB/25-GB minimum suits little content, not long households with many packs; use at least 8 GB and generous free space. Official Mac tiers remain Intel-described with no separate Apple-silicon performance tier.

Uninstallation steps

For low FPS use Laptop Mode, lower Sim detail/lighting/reflections and reduce high-poly CC. Apple silicon can run it, but EA’s published tiers remain Intel-based; validate a clean short save.

It fixes three base-game items: opening a clothing category in Create-a-Sim now jumps to the currently worn item and helps identify its pack; Build Mode’s eyedropper opens that item’s catalog listing; and Gallery uploads should no longer time out.
