With a little help from your uncle, you get an apartment and your first job. But then it’s up to you to achieve success and take over New York City any way you like.
Slowly build multiple small businesses, grow them into huge corporations, or carve your own unique path – the possibilities are limitless in this vast business sandbox. You’ve never played anything like this!
Go from a small apartment and public transport to luxury suites, fast cars and designer furniture. Put your money into investment funds and real estate. Succeed, fail, rebuild. But remember to take care of yourself, sleep and stay happy on your rise to the top.
Do you have what it takes to build your own empire?
Go from nothing to the most prominent tycoon in New York. Start a business, work smart, make it thrive and enjoy your life. How do you want to be successful? How far can you push it? How long can you make it last?
Start your own gift shop, supermarket, coffee shop, law firm, clothing store, liquor store, florist, and more. You decide what success is – whether it’s a single shop, a chain of fast-food restaurants, a huge corporation, or making millions developing websites.
Take out a loan, rent a building, design the logo, renovate the store, get stock, manage your money, hire staff, and build your infrastructure. Soon, you may have to start importing products from the harbour and distributing them through a network of warehouses.
A bigger business means managers. Hire HR Managers, Logistics Managers, and Purchasing Agents. They all need desks and computers, so you’ll need a fancy headquarters.
Need a delivery truck? Travel to a dealer and buy one. Need food? Go to a supermarket, but make sure you have a refrigerator at home. Big Ambitions is a life sim where your character has to physically interact with the world to survive and succeed.

優點

不足
- 自動化前反覆步行、駕車、搬箱、擺家具及補貨，容易繁瑣。睡眠、飢餓、幸福會打斷純經營，交通、停車和營業時間亦增加摩擦。多商店、總部、倉庫和班表同時運作後，介面/財務排查量很大。Early Access 可能改平衡、內容、存檔格式，Workshop 亦可能失效。Mac 規格偏舊 Intel+獨顯，沒有 Apple Silicon 指南；M 系列效能高不代表已支援。建議 8 GB 獨立顯存也排除很多 Mac。
安裝步驟
- 本頁對應渠道名稱/安裝包標記的 Big Ambitions 0.11.3542 Early Access；獨立版本欄為空，因此按名稱與檔案驗收。官方 Mac 最低為 Catalina、Intel i5 同級、8 GB、獨立顯卡 2 GB 顯存、12 GB 空間；建議 Intel i7、12 GB、獨顯 8 GB。預留 25 GB，備份 Steam Cloud、角色/公司/自動存檔、商店配置、班表、總部/倉庫/物流、車輛、投資、Workshop 及 0.11.3542/SHA-256。新檔測公寓、工作、需求、租店、進貨、收銀、員工和重載，再匯入主檔。Apple Silicon 無官方分級，獨顯要求與整合 Apple GPU 不同，不預設相容。
解除安裝步驟
- 移除前回住所/安全室內，結束搬運、駕駛與交易，手動儲存並等待 Steam Cloud。分開備份主檔/自動檔、公司、商店/總部/倉庫配置、合約/班表、採購/物流代理、庫存、車輛、房產、投資、模組及 0.11.3542/SHA-256，記錄現金、貸款、租約和時間。不要同時刪使用者資料。重裝先停用 Workshop，以副本睡過一天，核對需求、租金/工資、補貨、上班、配送及財務，再逐一恢復模組。
常見錯誤及解決方法
- 黑畫面、啟動閃退或低幀率先核對 Catalina、8 GB、12 GB、SHA-256 與獨立顯卡 2 GB 硬條件；降低解析度、陰影、交通/人群並停疊加層。Apple Silicon 的 Rosetta 不能代替獨顯。商店無顧客要查營業時間、招牌、收銀、班表、價格/庫存及客群。補貨失敗核對倉庫貨架、採購/物流代理、車輛/路線/容量。員工不上班查通勤、班表、技能、滿意度和工作站。存檔異常先保留副本、停 Workshop、測自動檔；財務則查租金、工資、進口、積貨、貸款及投資。
