A living simulation
Starting with just a few tanks and the most basic of livestock, you’ll grow your aquarium to a thronging metropolis filled with hundreds of guests, tens of staff and a multitude of different aquatic lifeforms, each with their own unique care

Design your exhibits
Megaquarium features almost 100 different marine species including fish, sharks, crustaceans, corals, jellyfish, other invertebrates and even a turtle! You’ll be spoilt for choice as you design, decorate and populate your tanks.
The right staff for the job
You won’t get far without the right staff. Choose who to hire based on their skills and future potential. Will you train up a team of multi-disciplined staff or a set of super-focussed experts? You’ll have to weigh up the pros and cons of each strategy and work out what is right for your aquarium.
Research new animals and technology
As guests experience your displays you’ll earn points which you can assign to discovering new livestock and equipment. Keep upgrading and expanding your aquarium and work your way up to the most prestigious animals and displays in the aquarium industry.
Manage your finances
The latest fish might look cool, but have you considered its impact on your aquarium’s bottom line. Tricky animals may require new staff to be hired, expensive fish food or supplements and the best tanks are a hefty investment! As aquarium curator you’ll need to master creativity and economics to succeed.

优点
- 把水族生物真实的温度、水质、食性、群居、捕食和空间需求转化为易读的经营系统，既有教育性又有规划深度。战役逐步教学，沙盒支持高度自定义与随机挑战。近百物种和大量水箱设备、装饰、员工设施让每座馆差异明显。员工技能、研究、演讲、访客视线、动线、餐饮和礼品店把后台照护与前台经营连接起来。规模可从小馆渐进扩张，暂停与分层视图方便排错。
不足
- 后期馆舍同时模拟大量访客、员工、动物、水箱和设备，路径与维护会变成高频微操，也会增加 CPU/显卡压力。错误的动物相容或供给链可快速导致连锁死亡，长档升级前必须备份。官方 Mac 配置很老且表述异常，以 Intel/Xeon 和 Radeon HD 7950 为基准，没有推荐档和 Apple Silicon 说明。部分淡水、深海与高级物种/设备属于 DLC，不能当成本体。Workshop 物种与设施质量、平衡和版本兼容不一，缺依赖会破坏旧馆布局。
安装步骤
- 本页对应 Megaquarium 5.1.5g。官方 Mac 最低为 OS X 10.10 64 位、8GB 内存、AMD Radeon HD 7950、1GB 空间；处理器说明以约 2016 年 Intel Mac 为基准，未提供 Apple Silicon 档位。建议预留 8GB。安装前备份 Steam Cloud、本地水族馆、战役进度、沙盒规则、员工安排、物种收藏、研究、财务、Workshop 和 DLC，记录 SHA-256。首次禁用 Workshop，以新沙盒测试水质/温度、过滤、饲料、动物相容性、员工路线、访客设施、研究、保存读取，再在副本载入旧馆。
卸载步骤
- 卸载前暂停游戏，让员工完成当前喂食/维修动作并手动保存。分别备份云端和本地水族馆、战役星级、沙盒参数、物种/研究解锁、员工技能、财务、设施布局、Workshop 清单和 DLC，标注 5.1.5g、日期及 SHA-256。云冲突保留两端。重装后先用空白沙盒建立一个水箱、过滤器和员工区并保存，再导入旧档；先对齐 DLC，逐批恢复 Workshop，缺失动物或设备时只在副本排查。
常见报错及解决办法
- 动物生病或死亡：检查水质、温度、氧气、过滤能力、食物类型/库存、捕食与体型相容、群居数量和水箱容量。员工不工作时检查门、员工区、路径、任务优先级、技能、设备站与补给位置。访客拥堵要调整单向流线、楼梯、座椅、厕所、餐饮、礼品店和观景面。低帧率先核对 8GB、Radeon HD 7950 等级、空间与 SHA-256，减少访客、动物、装饰和视距。旧馆缺动物/设备先恢复对应 DLC/Workshop，勿覆盖主档。Apple Silicon 没有官方档位，只能以无模组小馆试运行。
本次版本更新内容
- 站内版本为 5.1.5g。公开官方索引没有与该内部构建号精确对应的逐项日志，因此不把更高构建、扩展宣传或社区推测写成本版更新。可核实的本体范围包括10关教学战役、可自定义且带随机挑战的沙盒、97种具独立饲养需求的生物、100多种过滤/温控/服务/装饰设施、员工技能与演讲、研究、访客需求、礼品店、财务和 Steam Workshop/Cloud。淡水与深海等内容依实际 DLC 授权区分。安装后核对 5.1.5g 显示、旧馆、动物需求、员工调度和保存读取。
