A unique, visually appealing, mentally challenging story. Versatile puzzles, unanswered questions, confusing clues and a disturbing psyche demand a lot from both the player and the protagonist, Walter Thompson.
Can you manage to make sense of it all? Should you persevere, there is a chance to find answers to your questions.
You wake up. You’re disoriented. Your head hurts. Things seem surreal, yet familiar.
Your wife Martha and your daughter Dorie are not there. Why?
Looking for answers, you explore your environment and fragments of memories. On your journey you are repeatedly confronted with riddling tasks, driven by the desire to find out what’s going on.
What happened last night? Why can’t you think of any other thing aside from your days as a stage builder at the circus?
As things get crazier and more bizarre, the lines between reality, memory, and imagination become more and more blurred and you realize: there is no going back. You have to do whatever it takes to bring this story to an end, no matter at what cost…

In REVEIL, the player is immersed into a world, designed with attention to detail, where the boundaries between reality and illusion become blurred.
The setting is an authentically orchestrated environment inspired by the circus of the 60s, which soon takes on surreal features.

The only thing that keeps you from giving up is the will to find Martha and Dorie. Do not shut your eyes to the hints left by the two, but keep them wide open and … try to not lose your mind.

- 年代 Circus の Stage、Backstage Prop、Lighting、Soundscape が統一された個性を作り、Surreal な変化は単独の Jump Scare ではなく Walter の Memory と Narrative Clue に結び付きます。Puzzle、Environmental Observation、Item Interaction が交互に現れ、純粋な Walking Sim より参加感があります。Chapter Autosave と Steam Cloud で区切って遊べます。Mac 要件は明確で、最低に Apple M1 と Intel Core M、さらに 30/60 FPS の二段階を公式が示します。
短所
- Fragmented Memory、Visual Misdirection、再探索で進むため、Direct Exposition や Fast Action を好む人には遅く感じられます。小さな Object/Environmental Clue は暗い Scene で見落としやすいです。First-person Camera、Motion Blur、Flashing Light、Surreal Transition は酔いの原因になります。RAM 12/16 GB と空き 30 GB は軽くなく、Base M1 は Full HD/30 FPS 目標です。Autosave は自由な Manual Save ではなく、Cloud の誤上書きで Chapter Progress を失う可能性があるため Local Copy が必要です。
インストール手順
- このページは REVEIL 1.1.1f1 向けです。公式 Mac 最小要件は macOS Mojave 10.14、Apple M1 または Intel Core M、RAM 12 GB、Apple M1 Graphics、空き 30 GB で Full HD/30 FPS、推奨は macOS Sonoma 14、M1 Pro、RAM 16 GB、空き 30 GB で Full HD/60 FPS です。Steam Cloud/Local Save、Graphics、Audio、Subtitle、Control を保存し、1.1.1f1 と SHA-256 を記録します。新規 Game で Opening、字幕、環境音、Object Interaction、Puzzle State、Autosave を確認します。Medium と Motion Blur Off を基準にし、Shadow、Post-processing、Resolution を一項ずつ上げます。
アンインストール手順
- 削除前に安全な Scene で Autosave 完了を待ち、Mechanism 動作中、Scene Transition、Chase 中に強制終了しません。Chapter、Clue、Puzzle State、Achievement、Graphics/Brightness、Volume/Subtitle、Keyboard/Controller を個別保存し、1.1.1f1/SHA-256 を残します。Cloud と Local を同時に消さないでください。Cloud Sync を切って再導入し、新規 Save で Movement、Inspect、Pickup/Combine、Subtitle、Autosave 一回を確認します。旧 Save の Copy で正しい Chapter を確認後に Sync を戻し、Conflict は時刻と進行が明確な側を選びます。
よくあるエラーと解決策
- 起動時の黒画面は Shader 処理を待ち、Window/Fullscreen を切り替え、Resolution、Shadow、Post-processing を下げます。空き 30 GB、RAM 12 GB、SHA-256 も確認します。不安定な FPS は Motion Blur、Shadow、Reflection を下げ、M1 は公式 30 FPS、M1 Pro/16 GB は 60 FPS を目安にします。Object Interaction 不可時は Inspect を閉じ、Hotspot を合わせて最新 Autosave を読み、連打しません。Puzzle 異常に見える場合は Environmental Clue を再確認し、唯一の Save を上書きしません。Audio は Output/Master/Dialogue、Subtitle は言語切替後 Scene 再読込を試します。酔いやすい人は Camera を遅くし Blur を切って短時間で遊びます。Cloud Conflict は両 Copy を保持します。M1 と Intel Core M は公式対応です。
