Cons
- Difficulty is high: guard timing, boss patterns, durability and Death Ergo recovery maintain pressure and will not suit players seeking an easy story path. M1/8 GB is only the entry tier, while official recommendation is M2/16 GB; the 56.95-GB package also needs patch/cache headroom. Intel Macs are unsupported. Mods, DLC, New Game+ and Death March increase save-compatibility risk, requiring separate pre/post-patch copies. Frequent violence, gore and mature themes are unsuitable for some audiences. Branches and endings require replay, and missed quests may not be recoverable within the current run.
Installation steps
- This page is pinned to Lies of P 1.11.0. Official Mac minimums are Apple silicon, 8 GB RAM, macOS Ventura 13.0+ and 50 GB storage; recommended is Apple M2, 16 GB and a currently supported macOS. Intel Macs are incompatible. The site package is about 56.95 GB, so keep at least 75 GB free for installation, patches, shader cache and saves. Back up progress and record 1.11.0, Overture ownership, playthrough/chapter, mod list and installer SHA-256. Start without mods at default/low quality and test Stargazer, guard, dodge, weapon assembly, Legion Arm, durability, Death Ergo, save/load and sleep recovery. Uninstallation steps
- Save beside a Stargazer, wait for the indicator, then quit. Uninstalling does not revoke Steam ownership, achievements or DLC, but mod files can remain and need separate tracking. Uroboros’s Eye damage, Sharp Pipe hits and unintended Whirlwind Amulet triggers are also fixed, so retest without mods. A full Bag should send pickups to Storage. For Motion Blur, Death Ergo location or achievement faults, confirm 1.11.0 and a clean environment.

- Lies of P 1.11.0 is a maintenance update focused on fixes. It corrects Uroboros’s Eye Handle Fable Arts damage, unintended Whirlwind Amulet activation from enemy dodges, and Sharp Pipe dealing no damage to some monsters. It fixes zero-durability weapon state after restart/next playthrough and Death March durability after boss selection/restart. It also addresses Champion Victor’s phase model, the Two-faced Overseer entrance, Death Ergo locations, the Extreme Potential achievement, Motion Blur settings, and Japanese/Polish achievement text. Pickups now move to Storage when the Bag is full, and some NPC dialogue order is adjusted.
