  • OS X 10.10 or later

Description

Enrol with the police, emergency medical services or fire department and take on missions unique to each service in an open world. Engage in desperate car chases, diagnose life-threatening injuries, and put out lethal fires! Each department has its own vehicles and equipment for you to operate while on duty.

Play in single player, or work together with friends in online multiplayer to tackle incidents across a shared world.

Usually the first to respond to a criminal incident, the police are equipped with the fastest vehicle and a variety of equipment. Their roles vary from handing out parking tickets to chasing down dangerous suspects. They’ll do everything they can to prevent criminal activity and put a stop to any crimes in progress.

As an emergency medical specialist, your job lies in keeping members of the public alive, treating patients’ injuries, diagnosis and more. Lifesaving equipment you’ll utilise includes medical kits, stretchers and ambulances.

The role of the fire department extends far beyond putting out flames, as they work closely with medical services out in the field, swiftly cutting open crashed cars so that medical staff can reach the casualty. The fire department won’t engage in the pursuit of suspects, but will handle the aftermath of an incident, including, of course, putting out fires.

Battling raging flames and freeing trapped civilians involves some heavy-duty gear including spreaders, a fire hose, a fire extinguisher and a fire truck.

MULTI-PLAYER

Team up with fellow players online and divide your team between the three emergency services at will. Race around the open world in various vehicles, to where you are needed, working together to help civilians in accidents or catch a fleeing criminal.

MISSIONS

Various calls to action will see you responding to incidents based on your chosen department, as well as the relevant area in the open world. From speeding and illegal parking, to raging fires and life-threatening car accidents, t

Why we recommend it

Recommended for players who enjoy open-world driving, emergency-service role-play and procedural teamwork with friends. Those seeking hard professional simulation, complex vehicle physics or pure action shooting should be cautious. Learn each service solo: lawful stop/arrest order for police, diagnose-treat-carry for EMS, and stabilize-extinguish-extricate for fire. In co-op, assign command, traffic, rescue and medical roles before responding. Establish a clean no-mod baseline before adding liveries/uniforms. Safe order: dual backup; 2026.06.16/SHA-256; three solo services; AI backup; clean co-op; restore mods individually.

Pros

  • One open world provides three distinct workflows and toolsets: police pursuit/arrest, EMS diagnosis/transport, and fire suppression/extrication avoid a single repeated job. Solo play supports paced learning, while up to ten-player co-op can split one incident into traffic control, rescue, treatment and prisoner transport, creating strong role-play space. Vehicles, lights, sirens, medical kits, stretchers, spreaders and hoses have direct roles. The official in-game mod browser supports worldwide emergency liveries/uniforms, and 69 achievements add goals. English, Simplified Chinese, Japanese and Traditional Chinese interfaces are official; Korean is not listed.

Cons

  • This is an open-world emergency-service sandbox, not complete professional police, medical or fire training; procedures and physics are simplified and cannot replace real protocols. In solo play, traffic, suspects, casualties and fire overlap, magnifying AI/pathing frustration. Mission templates and long drives can become repetitive. Multiplayer depends heavily on host network, communication, matching build and mods; livery/uniform dependency mismatches can block joining or display. Official Mac specs list only Intel, 4 GB and a 1-GB dedicated GPU, with no Apple-silicon native or M1/M2/M3/M4 performance tier, so newer-system compatibility needs conservative judgment. The Korean page is editorial translation, not an in-game Korean localization.

Installation steps

  1. This page covers Flashing Lights 2026.06.16. Official Mac minimums are OS X 10.10+, 64-bit, an Intel Core i3 2-GHz equivalent, 4 GB RAM, a dedicated GPU with 1 GB memory and 7 GB storage. Back up service progression, 69 achievements, vehicle/uniform mods, controls and graphics, then record 2026.06.16/SHA-256. Start without mods and complete one police stop/arrest, EMS diagnosis/stretcher transport, and fire suppression/extrication in solo mode, checking lights, siren, equipment and mission results. Then host an up-to-10-player co-op session, divide police/fire/EMS roles and validate a shared incident hand-off.

Uninstallation steps

  1. Before removal, finish the active call and return to available status; do not force-quit during a pursuit, patient carry, vehicle extrication or multiplayer synchronization. Separately back up police/fire/EMS progress, achievements, bindings, vehicle/equipment settings, official mod subscriptions and custom liveries, retaining 2026.06.16/SHA-256. Never clear cloud and local copies together. Reinstall without mods and check dispatch, navigation, traffic, pedestrians, mission generation and basic tools for all three services in solo. Then host a clean co-op room, and finally restore vehicle liveries, uniforms and other mods one at a time.

Common errors and fixes

  1. For a stuck mission, verify each service workflow. Police must secure, search/arrest and complete required processing; EMS must diagnose, treat, stabilize and load the patient correctly; fire crews must extinguish every source, stabilize the vehicle and extricate in order. If backup remains distant or stuck, stay on 2026.06.16: the hotfix lets AI use alleys/parking lots and fixes police backup aiming without returning fire. Armed suspects gradually aiming at the ground is also fixed. Cod Town Drug Deal 1017, Vehicle Fire 2002 and listed parking issues require this build. For low FPS, reduce pedestrian/traffic density, textures and view distance; the hotfix adjusts spawning, texture streaming and CPU/VRAM use. For co-op desync, match build/mods and let the host recreate the room. No official Apple-silicon tier is published; the site channel is Intel.

What changed in this version

  1. The official 2026.06.16 hotfix lets AI backup use alleys and parking lots to approach the player. It fixes police backup stuck aiming without shooting and armed NPC suspects gradually aiming toward the ground. Cod Town Drug Deal in Progress (ID 1017), Vehicle Fire (ID 2002), parking at City 32-36/Cod Town 64-73 and floating decals at the Cod Town fire department are corrected. Traffic/pedestrian spawning, pedestrian/AI-traffic texture streaming, CPU/VRAM use and pedestrian texture quality are adjusted. Acceptance covers this exact list and excludes updates above the site’s dated build.
