WHAT’S NEW
Version 7.1:
NEW
• Choose an output speaker for alarms — including AirPlay speakers. The new Output Device section in Alarm Settings picks which speaker alarms play through (built-in sounds, Apple Music, and spoken messages all follow it), and Awaken switches to it when the alarm fires, automatically retrying AirPlay speakers that need a few attempts to reconnect after sleep.
• Keep Speaker Connected option streams silent audio between alarms so an AirPlay speaker doesn’t drop its connection overnight.
• Restore Output After Alarm option (on by default) returns your Mac’s audio to the previous device when the alarm ends — turn it off to keep listening on the alarm’s speaker.
• Per-alarm volume: each alarm can now have its own Custom Volume instead of the shared Alarm Volume. Alarms
